Its water storage volume is 176 mil. m3. The main dam is constructed of homogeneous earthfill with maximum height of 27m and crest length of 480m.  There are 7 auxiliary dams with maximum height of 12.6m. The spillway consists of 3 gates, each of them is 8m of width. The spillway discharge is 850m3/s (in 1999, the spillway were expanded with more 2 gates to release an additional discharge of 585m3/s). The intake is 195m long with discharge of 30m3/s. Total length of main and primary canal system is 72km.
