Dear Sirs,

On behalf of all VNCOLD members, we would like to express our deep condolences on heavy losses in consequences of the serious earthquake in the Sichuan Province on 12^th May, 2008. The safety of many dams in the epicentre zone are also threatened.

We are convinced that under the leadership of the Commmunist Party of China and the Government of the People’s Republic of China, the great Chinese people’s efforts will make the normal life recovered in the Sichuan Province soon.
