(Binh Dinh Province, Vietnam)

Following  two  first  editions  held  in  Europe  (Liège,Belgium  in  2011  and  Paris, France  in  2013),  the  3rd International  Workshop  on  Labyrinth  and  Piano Key Weirs (PKW)  movesto  Asia,  and  in  particular  to  Vietnam,  where  severallarge  PKW  projects  are  in  operation  or  underconstruction. This event will be held in Qui Nhon, Capital City of the Binh Dinh Province, not far from the Van Phong PKW, the biggest PKW in Vietnam. It will be organized by the Vietnam National Committee on Large Dams & Water Resources  Development (VNCOLD) together with:

·         Université de Liège – Hydraulique de l’Environnement Naturel etConstruit;

·         Electricité de France – Centre d’Ingénierie Hydraulique;

·         Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne – Laboratoire de ConstructionsHydrauliques;

and the support from:

·         International Association for Hydro-Environment  Engineering and Research – TechnicalCommittee on HydraulicStructures

·         Société Hydrotechnique de France

·         Comité français des barrages et réservoirs

Authors  are  requested  to  submit  an  abstract  in  English(1  page  max.  250  words)  by  e-mail  to  the  workshopsecretariat  (  by 31 July 2016.
